Enneagram Spotting

This is an endlessly fun game for me: spotting enneagram fixations. I’m fascinated by human nature and how the fixations a person or culture has is reflected in their creations.
One application of the enneagram is that it is a map of the landscape of personality. There are nine different fixations that people can have. This fixation contracts our consciousness down to see a limited worldview – awakening is about relaxing and expanding attention beyond this ego fixation.
I have made another website, Enneagram Playground, to channel my passion into so look at that for a broader understanding of what the enneagram of personality is.
The game is very simple. Look around you and see if you can notice different fixations. You can spot it in people, music, the culture of a country or city, in architecture, pet dogs, artworks, films, advertising, everywhere.
If you have friends you can talk and laugh about it with all the better. One word of warning though – don’t tell people what type they are unless they ask. It will probably annoy them.
