Playing the Forgotten Game of Life
Most of my ideas for The Forgotten Game are summed up in the video book chapters (see below). However, here a quick written explanation too about some simple steps to start playing the game of life.
1. Remember the Game
If you have a deep belief that 'life is serious' then that will make it very hard to play. So remind yourself regularly that this is all a game (even if we have to suspend our disbelief).
2. Enjoy the moment.
Games are characterized by enjoyment. So, if you are enjoying life in this moment you are playing the game of life, the forgotten game.
Once you have enjoyed one moment, you can enjoy the next and the next.... There are always so many things to choose from at any time. Imagine them like Power Ups that you collect in a video game:

3. Follow your Bliss
Start to prioritise doing what you feel like doing, not what you think you 'should' do. This moves us in the direction of our true strengths. When we are feeling good and doing what feels right, inspiration and intuition flows in about what we could do next to have even more fun in this game of life. If we act on this, we build an upward spiral of positive emotion and life gets better and better.
4. Complete your Quests
When you are following your bliss and using your true strengths, it will start to become clearer what the purpose of your life is. You will start to know what quests you want to go on. Break the journey towards completing your quests into levels, like on a video game, and congratulate yourself when you get past that level. This will make the game even more fun and satisfying.

I really enjoy making my videos and this website... it's all for fun! I am not pretending that this is an original, groundbreaking idea. It's just one way of expressing a state of self-realisation and the shift to a more mindful, liberated and positive way of life that many are making.
